PITTSBURGH, PA (CelebrityAccess) — Sudden Little Thrills, a music festival that was scheduled to make its debut in Pittsburgh this year, has been abruptly canceled just one month after it was first announced.
In a statement shared on the festival’s website, C3 Presents said: “We were excited to bring a new world-class music festival to Pittsburgh. However, due to circumstances beyond our control, the Sudden Little Thrills Festival will not take place in 2024.”
Organizers went on to state that fans who have purchased tickets directly through Front Gate Tickets will be automatically refunded “in as little as 30 days” to the original method of payment.
The festival, which was announced last month, featured headliners such as SZA and The Killers who were scheduled to appear at Pittsburgh’s Hazlewood Green on Sept. 7 and Sept. 8.
Other artists announced for the three-stage festival included Melanie Martinez, St. Vincent, Fletcher, Girl Talk, Crowded House, Wiz Khalifa, Omar Apollo, Juvenile, Lupe Fiasco, Yung Gravy, Hippo Campus and The Driver Era, among others.
