The Closest Bonfire: Dilapidated Bridge

From the Dilapidated Bridge bonfire, you should walk across the graveyard where the giant throws his large spears and enter the house.

Inside this house, on a small balcony is where the Great Scythe can be found. Go up to the first floor. The ground up there is ruined. You’ll have to make a short jump or dodge to make it to the small area from where the item is reachable.

Note: Continuing further on to your left, you can find the Curse-Rotted Greatwood boss.

Attacks with this large scythe, normally used for crop harvesting, are effective at breaking past shields.
The magnificent sharp curved blade instills fear in opponents. Perhaps it is their survival instinct at work.
Skill: Neck Swipe. This attack aims for the scruff of a foe’s neck, and when successful, functions as a head shot, inflicting heavy damage.
The scythe has great range, with several swinging and swiping attacks. With it, dealing with groups is less of a problem than ever. Every hit causes bleed build-up, which makes it great for taking down tougher enemies as well. The description implies it’s good at breaking blocks, but we haven’t noticed any difference compared to other weapons.
