Lady Gaga Speaks Out on Claim That She Was Raped by Dr. Luke

After Lady Gaga bravely opened up to Howard Stern about being raped as a teenager, it didn't take long for the speculation to start.

While Gaga did not reveal the identity of her rapist, Stern alluded that it was a producer in the music industry -- a suggestion that inadvertently lead to the 'Born This Way' singer's unwanted involvement in the Kesha-Dr. Luke lawsuit. (Kesha is suing Dr. Luke for sexual assault, while Dr. Luke is suing the singer for extortion.)

After the interview, Kesha's lawyer, Mark Geragos, took to Twitter with a straight-forward message to Gaga:

He then confirmed a fan's suggestion that Gaga's rapist was Dr. Luke (whose real name is Lucasz Gottwald):

However, reps for both Lady Gaga and Dr. Luke have spoken out to vehemently deny such claims.

"This ridiculous, manufactured link between Lady Gaga and the Kesha-Dr. Luke lawsuit is utterly incomprehensible," Gaga's rep told E! News. "This simply isn't true and how dare someone take advantage of such a sensitive matter."

For his part, a rep for Dr. Luke claimed: "Mark Geragos' statement is completely false and defamatory. Luke met Lady Gaga twice for less than half an hour total in those two meetings combined. He has never been alone with her and never touched her. Neither meeting was in that time frame reported."
