Several injured after tour bus rollover crash in New York

Multiple people were injured Friday in a rollover crash involving a tour bus on I-87 in New York, police said.

Police say the crash happened around 12:50 p.m. on Friday afternoon. All southbound lanes and both shoulders are currently closed between Exit 23 and Exit 22 on I-87, according to 511NY.

“Within the last hour, a tour bus with multiple passengers rolled over on I-87 between Warrensburg and Lake George," New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said on X. "State Police and Department of Transportation immediately responded and are currently on-site performing rescue operations. To allow first responders to do their jobs, I-87 southbound is closed between exits 23 and 22 and drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes.

I join the people of New York in praying for the well-being of all involved in this horrific incident and am deeply grateful for the heroic efforts of our first responders.”
